Myhbusters did a test on that //// windows down no A/C you get better mileage.

Also I have known for years that my truck gets way better gas mileage with no A/C on, the A/C uses alot of power from your engine.
No matter how fast your driving.
both the same, as windows down crfeates drag and more fuel is used and the AC uses more fuel when on
Depends on how fast you're going.

If you're doing 30, I don't think the drag caused by opening the windows is going to significantly affect the amount of fuel used. Have you noticed a difference in performance (ie: having to rev the engine higher) between driving normally with the windows open and shut? I suspect not.

On the other hand the power required to drive the A/C depends on the temperature setting on the controls. But as soon as you turn it on, it uses more power thus more fuel regardless.
to don't worry about the environment .grow a tree in ground. anything it did the tree fixes
its better to leave your car at home and WALK
I find that running the AC on a hot day is better for the environment.

(My environment, in my vehicle, is cooler and more comfortable, and that is all I care about!!)
