I have a mr2 mk1 the pasanger side electric window will not work i have tryed a different motor but no good?
Answers:
The wiring out to the motor from the door frame, to the door assembly, near the door hinges, is most probably cracked all the way through from fatigue damage caused by the normal closing and opening of the door.
Check for damage to the wiring, which is located inside the flexible rubber boot.
I normally carefully cut open the boot, repair the wiring by soldering etc., and close the boot by wrapping it with electrical insulating tape.
lose your temper and throw a brick through it.it wont mend the motor but you will feel better.
scrap it and make the world a better place and feel good about yourself
there are 2 seperate fuses in the box for leccy windows. check them both. if that dosnt work try the switch or the relay.. good luck
the switches are very subseptable to failure.. this would be the first place i'd check, closly followed by checking that the relay is working correctly, check that there is voltage to the switch, which will narrow it down initially
