I bougt a new motorcycle 3 yrs ago, how do i no when it needs a M.O.T?

Answers:
The M.O.T is due 3 years from date of first registration, this will be shown on your V5
what is a mot
When it's 3 years old it need one (if it's the same as a car).
Look at dvla site.
Actualy cars need M.O.T. tests every year. Have a word with DVLA or the dealership you bought the motor cycle from.
with a car its 3 years after the first date of registration. not sure if its the same with bikes, check with the dvla
Try road taxing it with out one, any time now, on its 3rd birth day
This is copied direct from VOSA.gov.uk website and it was in the bike section.

Vehicles should receive their first MOT when they reach 3 years of age.

If a car is registered with no prior use on the road, the MOT will be required three years after the date of registration. For example, a car registered "from new" on 25th April 2000 will require its MOT no later than 25th April 2003. If a car is used prior to registration, as would be the case with an import, the MOT will be required three years from the end of the year of manufacture. For example a car manufactured at any time in 2000 will require an MOT no later than 31st December 2003. There is no grace period given after these dates.
DVLA should notify you that you need a mot just before your road tax runs out,it should be three years of registration
