My X-Trail's brake pedal shudders when I brake (>60mph), making my steering wheel vibrate as well. 1.8 yr old
Answers:
Warped Roter? I would recommend taking it in for brake inspection. Whenever I have had shuddering issues its always been the roters.
Check brake pads and disks, sounds like they are warped
I agree it sounds like warped brake discs (rotors). When I have this problem fitting new discs cures it.
have you anti-lock brakes if so get em checked.
also track-rods n ball joints if you have hammered the vehicle(off road or kerbed it recently)
Hm, I don't know why Nissan's cars are doing these things. Get the brakes checked like the other said. I hope things turn out right! :)
Probably cracked/warped brake rotors. Try and avoid splashing through big puddles when your brakes are nice a hot-just asking for trouble.
This no doubt sounds like warped rotors. Take your car to a brake shop. If the rotors aren't warped too badly, they can smooth out your rotors. If they are warped beyond fixing, they will simply have to install new rotors which costs a bit more.
