I have 2004 Yamaha Jogger RR that will only go at 30 mph but have been told that with the restriction removed i could get 50 to 55 mph so how do i do it . DIY

O.K.Done this loads.First the exhaust. There is a short pipe that comes off the exhaust near the manifold near the barrel.Chop this off and remove the little scoop that's inside.Weld over the hole that's left behind.
Next the gearbox.Remove the engine casing. The one with the kickstarter attached. You will see two pulleys with a rubber drive belt between them.Take the nut off the front pulley and the half of the pulley that's nearest you. You'll then see the belt.take out the thick washer that's on the crankshaft where the belt is and reassemble. All done.Best of luck.might be an idea to let a pro tackle the job though.
Find Out where It Is First (it'll Be On the engine throttle toggle). Just Remove It And Reconnect The Cable End Directly To The Toggle
doubtfull it will be on the throttle more likely to be either a restriction in the inlet or exhaust it could even be built into the exhaust pipe itself as it is on some mopeds
Yamaha puts their restrictors in the exhaust pipe, right where it connects to the cyl head. I'm not sure about the Jog.
