Well hopefully you wont get any breaks for from racing but you might want to ask what the best brakes you can buy are !

Get some braided hoses
Change the fluid from DOT5 to DOT4 (Racing Brake Fluid)
Change the pads to race compound sintered pads (all major manufacturers make these)
Then if you need more stopping power, look into getting some lightweight wavy discs.
That should be more than enough for a Hornet.
We run CBR600RRs for a race team and have found that to be more than sufficient. The only difference is that we use Brembo master cyclinders, which just increases the feel from the brakes.
You'll need to open your wallett.
But Brembo are in the business for a VERY good reason.
I doubt you will pay for it though..
