How much would insurance be for a scooter/moped? Could you recommend a insurer?

I'm in the UK, I am female and nearly 17.

Thanks,

Jay

it would be a bit cause of your age but where are you going to keep it is it alarmed immobilised what make bike is it all these are taken into consideration with the price but motorcycle direct i found very cheap for a quote
Try GEICO.com

The cost all depends on your age, your marital status, your driving record and the kind of vehicle it is. Also considered is the number or miles it will be driven and the kind of storage it's going to have.'

I hope this helps.
Some manufacturers sell you insurance for £300 if you buy a new scooter. Shop around.
Norwich Union used to specialise in bikes and so were always the cheapest. So try them first. They may even "Quote you happy". LOL Think about things like how much excess you will go to and stuff first. you may have to have a £250 excess to get a reasonable quote. but in an accident - they pay the value of the bike less your excess - so you don't get much anyway. you may see a link on my little website that will help - but they change all the time.
