How do i find and clear a fuel leak in my 1990 Mitsubishi Magna.?
Answers:
Let a mechanic look at it.
Take it to a mechanic dumbass.
Rather than sounding like a leak, you might have a clogged fuel filter. There are two places you might find the filter. Many are to be found underneath the car. They look like small cylinder on the fuel line. The second place would be near where the in and out fuel lines on your car connect to your injector rails.
It does sound like you have a clog. Go to an autoparts store and find. or order the manual for your car. There you will find where they might be. Replace the filters, and if you still have the same problem, then your injectors are probably clogged or you might have a faulty injector. In that case use some injector cleaner until that problem goes away.
If you do infact have an actual leak that you can see. To find the leak, clean off the entire area where it is wet with gas with brake clean (buy it at your local parts store. Then while you start the car, have someone look at the area where the leak was seen. Sometimes spraying some consentrated soapy water on the line will show you exactly where the cut or rip is. Then you just replace that section.
A word of caution, whenever you are dealing with the pressurized fuel line, remember to wear some kind of protective eyewhere. If there is still pressure in the line when you begin to remove it, you face having it spray in your face. Trust me, I know this actually happened to me and it burns like a mother *****! Anyways, good luck with that!

Light a match.
There are lots of reasons that could cause your car to run rough and stall and unless your pretty wised up on these things you should take it to the garage. It could be things like the mixture which you should not adjust yourself or the advance and retard in the distributor or even the distributor itself.Maybe it's just a broken vacuum hose taking air..a sticking valve or incorrect clearances.Try taking it for a tune and tell the mechanic whats going on..
