My C5 glovebox light is u/s. fuse is ok and bulb is ok. there is power to the bulb;?

Does anyone know how the switching system is supposed to work? I am stumped on this one, I think a piece could have fallen off, but I could not say where or if. Help!!

What you didn't realise is that in every Citroen ever made there is a Citroen mouse. It regularly disassembles bits and pieces at will and may put it together again, but maybe not. The odd little noise you can't fathom out? That'll be the mouse. Even Citroen garages can never find it.

After years of having a Citroen and a mouse, I've given up and have got a Ford.

I'm sorry, but my Citroens could often be a pain in the posterior.
It's the lamp itself, they're common for going wrong. If you take it out and fiddle with the spring you may get it to work again.
get a new car for the bulb
If you have power and the bulb is good you have no ground to complete the circuit, Try putting a flashlight in the glove box.
