Can the missing spigots cause damage to the (not to the alloy) but the internal car hub and main wheel plate?

It can cause damage to the wheel nut bolts as the alloy would not be fitting and tightening properly, therefore putting on more pressure on certain places instead of even pressure.
They are made this way for a reason and it is dangerous to drive for any length of time as the wheel nuts will loosen
