Any CBR600 owners out there needing new cam chain tensioners roughly every 4000 miles??

I've a 2002 FS2, have done 10000 miles on the bike (12000 it's done in total) and am going to need my 3rd lot soon coz the rattle is the most annoying thing ever, i want honda to do it free or parts or labour only, surely it can't be right they wear out like this??? anyone had similar problems???

Answers:
I had the same problem, it turned out the torque settings in the Official Honda workshop manual is a typo, causing official dealers to over tension the cam chain which means they don't last 5 minutes. Tell your dealer to contact Honda UK to confirm this and they will usually do it for free if you can produce a reciept for the last time you had it done. They are usually good for 25-30000 miles.
Sorry i have CBR700 series
it cant possibly have been installed right, should last at least 20,000 miles.
