How do i pay a speeding ticket if i've lost the forms and don't have a ref number?

i got caught speeding on a speed camera on boxing day.
i fully admit to speeding but have lost the return form to pay fine and don't know who to contract to get another or pay fine and i'm worried if i don't sort it i'll get a bigger fine or worst

Answers:
call someone up like the person that gave you the ticket and they''ll solve everything
don't know about your city/county but in mine they can look it up by license plate
you dont need to find it----they will find you !! kidding,sorry..
Try calling the court house early this week and explain to them exactly what you have said here. I would think they keep some sort of record of the cameras and would know who you are by tag number of your car. Give them that, and I'd be willing to bet everything will turn out ok. I'll bet not too many people are TRYING to pay fines! LOL Good for you for staying honest!!
Call the ticketing office of the Police Dept. and tell them your car license and name and address and have them check on it for you. Ask for and extension of time if it is due now so you will have time to pay it. They are very helpful, don't panic.
If you live in the city and the camera caught you in the city, you can usually contact your local municipal court and they should have your ticket on file by your name or the name of the registered vehicle owner. If it's in the county then usually that info is maitained at a justice of the peace office. Hope this helps and good luck
caller the police department where you got the ticket on there non emergency line and tell them your problem. if it is a small department then it is probably handeled by the local city hall but if it is a major city like houston they can transfer you to the division that you need to fix your problem..whatever you do don't call 911 for this we hate to get calls for stupid things.
Contact the police dept. Give them your license plate and explain that you lost the ticket, you can also contact the courthouse. Do you remember the date? If not, go there soon before you are issued another ticket and more fines.
just whistle and go shubadoo shibiday
go to your nearest police stn strieght away, give them your details and date of offence{speeding}/get them to call the court or office that is dealing with it and they will send u a copy and form to fill in and where to pay.failure to do this will result in a court appearance or a baliff knocking on the door.
Dont worry about it they will find you.
just ring the old bill
Ring the local city council, they will find it by your registration
Ask the police
You would call the courthouse and give the clerk your
1 name
2 social security number
3 ticket referral number
4 Driver's license number
5 birthday date

When you call you will be asked to select how you want your ticket processed the easiest way is to use your driver's license number

They have the ticket information in the computer and some courthouse have automated systems so you can pay over the telephone or by Internet
just whistle and go shubadoo shibiday
dont pay it, when they issue a bench warrant for your arrest you ll be taken straight to the proper authority's ( lol) seriously, contact your department of mot er vehicles in person, few will help over the phone. you should be able to resolve the issue there. Every State is diff rent, but that's what i would try first.
Contact the police station and tell them what happened. The officer who wrote the ticket has a duplicate. They might even let you pay it at the station.
Word to the wise, Always level with the cops. They respect honesty and will treat you with respect.
P.S. The same thing happened to me, I went through a stop sign and was pulled over. I didn't come up with any excuse, though I could have because the sign was covered over with branches. I my case ,he let me go but he could have given me a ticket if he felt like it. I just got lucky. I'm glad you're telling the truth also. The police appreciate it. Good luck!!
