At St. Helena's you need to consider the first rung on the ladder. It is numbered #35. Go up the ladder 35 steps. The rung you land on is labeled 1-64. The number on the left is your first coordinate, the number on the right tells you how many rungs you need to count next. Remember the clue to get into this island? "Count." That is what you need to do on the ladder. The next one (after counting 64 rungs), is labeled 7-16. Again, the number on the left is the next coordinate, the one on the right is telling you to count 16 rungs next, and so on.
Polly, you have the first four digits correct, but that 5 is totally out of place. You first direction, S is correct. Keep doing what I described above and you'll get the rest of your coordinates. Once you are out of there though be prepared for more challenges ahead.
PLEASE READ! Once you are at step 35 the rung should read 1-64, the left number is the first coordinate, the number on the right is the RUNG NUMBER you must go to next. START counting from the bottom again! Now you go up to rung number 64. That step ought to be numbered 7-16. Again, the number on the left is your next coordinate. The number on the right is the STEP OR RUNG you need to go to next (AGAIN FROM THE BOTTOM!). At step 16 you should read 0-96. And so on, and on, and on.., until you get four numbers, a letter, four numbers and one more letter. Those are your coordinates! LOL!

After 64 mine doesn't land on 7-16??
