I have a ford fiesta 1.4 2004 model and my lights only go on full beam, can any1 tell me how to switch it off?
Answers:
you must have your button either pulled out or pushed in , just reverse the process and your main beam will go out. if they operate on a lever then pull it towards you . or push it away. dont take to a garage its something simple your doing wrong. let me know if this helps
Take it to a garage, Your lights shouldnt be on full beam all the time
If you are unable to turn the full beam off (via the light/indicator stick on the steering column) then you either have a broken switch or possibly a bulb with the filament damaged - so that there is a cross-over between your headlight /full beam (they are usually the same light bulb but with two filaments). This would create an extra circuit & could be the cause of the problem.
If you don't have the 'know-how' to check this, then pop it into your local garage as you can't drive around with your full beam on all the time.
U need to get the lights adjusted - DIP !
(Changed the angle which is reflecting the beam)
from memory you need to pull or push the lever on you steering coloum were your indicators are the purple light should go off good luck
im sorry
drive it in to a pond that will dip them
