Which is better Toyota or Volkswagen?

Answers:
Puh-leez, Volkswagen fo sho, Toyota make the most boring cars ever.the reason they sell loads of them is they appeal to all the older folks with spare cash lying about. Even Toyota's 'sporty' models like the Celica are about as stimulating as expired valium.
Toyota. They have better looking cars and they last forever.
Toyota, you can't kill them. Everyone I have owned has lasted a long time with very little problems.
My opinion: Toyota. Why? My 1994 Celica has 203,000 and still going strong. I'm driving it at least 2 more years, probably more than that.
Toyota
Toyota, in my opinion. It will run for 300 thousand miles w/o needing anything done to it besides the usual care given to a vehicle.
toyota.its the best .it lasts forever
Have you considered this option "Toywagen"
I RUN AN AUTO PARTS STORE AND MY ANSWER IS DEFINITLY TOYOTA. OUR ENTIRE FLEET IN A 70 STORE CHAIN IS TOYOTAS.
Toyota, I have an 81' Corolla and it has 300,000 ++++ miles on it and it is older than I am and it still runs strong! I own 3 cars and all of them are Toyotas.
Toyota, they will out live your grandchildren. Not really, but you got my point. You can literally drive them until they turn into a redneck flower pot and even then you could probably spend a couple hundred to get it running again. :)
I would say its toyota because u know, they are one of the leading brands in the world.

Volkswagen have their outlets in only a certain parts of the world.

Toyota runs in Asia, Africa, Australia, europe, Americas
whereas,

Volksvagen have their outlets in only certain parts of the world.

Toyota has a standard and a superb engine no one can ever ever ever!! beat them so go for toyota dude!!
Toyota. because i like the twin turbo supra my friend has 1 and its the shi* he has new racer level 3 fule injectors new hot cam kit new pro pistons all new comp. sys. setup new wirering all threw out the car new dule pro carbon fibor exhost tips. its tight.
Toyota, Toyota is the largest automaker company, also has Camry is best selling car in America.
well, i would have to go with the japanesese company and say toyota
According to the UK Consumer Association's Magazine "Which?" Toyota (including Lexus) is the most maker of the most reliable cars whilst Volkswagen is poor for reliability.

I beleive the BBC Top Gear / JD power surbveys show similar results.
vw are tops, (i have a seat Toledo tdi which is a restyled passat underneath) its a top car 192k on the clock and the last mot (1 week ago) it failed on a bulb.starts first time, no smoke from the engine, everything still works perfectly and she still looks like new inside and out
Well lets see I've been a auto tech for 25 years now i sell Toyota's you wont find a better car period!
toyota no doubts
Toyota

I drive a 92 Camry with 283,000 miles on it.i replaced the transmission at 278,000 (the ORIGINAL ONE)..and the engine has never been rebuilt.
Toyota have just overtaken Ford and General Motors as the world's leading car manufacturer, WHY? because they make the best cars. VW are sacking 10,000 workers and shrinking. They have had their day.
VW's definitly are more entertaining. However Toyotas have FAR fewer problems than vw. A 3 year old Toyota is more reliable than a brand spankin new VW.

If you are going VW, do this: Lease for 3 years. Examine the contract like a surgeon looking for a brain tumor. Make sure there is nothing fishy and do not buy their flimsy explanaitions of the fishy odor. Make sure everything is covered, and then drive.

If you are buying and are concenred about your budget, Toyota is the only way to go.
If you have to ask you have to do a lot more research before you buy.
Buying a new car is ware most people make huge financial mistakes.
But not Toyota owners.
When I set out to buy my third car I asked mysefl what is the most important feature for me? Looks, mileage, price, speed, reliability etc, etc. After researching by reading countless of articles and magazines, I came upon a article called, "the most reliable car", Toyota Corolla. Ok, I am sure people can argue that point, it is like asking if Michael Jordan is the best basketball player. I bought a 98 Corolla. My goodness, this car is flawless. I am a weekend mechanic in a sense, but my tools sit there with no action at all (besides brakes, oil changes and tune ups). I have about 135,000 miles, I just replaced the serpentine belt just to be safe. The engine is quiet and responsive. It even feels like a larger car. In Chicago, the oldest cars you can see are Toyotas. I have seen sone from the 60's. You rarely ever see old VW Rabbitts, Buses or Beetles. If you do, you see guys pour hundreds of dollars to keep them running. Another example, Toyota Pickup trucks. You seen these in Latin America, Africa and other poor countries, You see people with 300,000 miles up to a million miles on an engine. No car can even come close. Toyotas have a high re-sale value also. If yhou are a person that changes cars every 5 years, A VW is cool. But if you keep them longer, Toyota is the way to go. Another conclusion, if the VW is so great, why do they keep on getting rid of models. Corollas have been around for years and continue to sell strong. The Prius for example is highly rated. Very reliable cars. I never worry that I will die in traffic like I did with my Ford. It needed repair almost monthly. The mechanics knew my first name every time I went to the shop. Was tired of calling tow trucks.
Of course TOYOTA. Good vehicle, Little problem and spareparts cheaper.
TOYOTA. volks is a novelty. i owned one beetle and since the color is yellow with 50 series 15 incher rubbers i go around town with people looking at me. but i am afraid to use it on long trips, i use my trusty COROLLA.
Toyota without a doubt

I just did 450miles in one day with my baby yaris and it's not even missed a single beat - and also everything still feels like brand new and works perfectly fine. They build brilliant cars and they employ UK workers which cannot be said about VW. VW have had their days now and are having to sack staff so lack of staff mean build quality will decrease hence more unreliable cars. Also VW have also decided to axe lots of model variations due to they say it;s costing them too much which probably shows you that VW sales are down hence they are also now offering discounts and money back features like Citroen.

In fact even Skoda are making better cars than VW.
no doubt toyota from 10 car makers toyota is on number one being the best and volks is on 12
Both of them are virtually equal in terms of mechanical reliability, build quality and servicing costs.

The VW probably keeps better it's resale value.
