The Meriva, Vauxhall's versatile new compact MPV, has won its first major award at a prestigious ceremony held in London. Fleet World magazine recognized the Meriva's great range of abilities in their 2003 Editor's Award.
Fleet World editor Ross Durkin said: " Meriva will be an important car for Vauxhall in the UK and there is little doubt that its brilliant packaging and high levels of comfort will attract buyers in their thousands." The Meriva goes on sale on 2nd June.
The company also claimed the fleet journal's 2003 Environmental Award. As a pioneer of LPG engines in fleet cars, Vauxhall is now reaping the benefits of its investment in LPG technology, as the acknowledged market leader in the field.
