My piaggio typhoon 125 brokedown. it has fuel and spark there was smoke coming from the front. is it the cdi?

Answers:
More info required. Where exactly did the smoke come from, the front of the bike or the front of the engine? If the CDI has failed there will probably not be a spark.
Any electrical component that gets hot enough to smoke should be easy to spot as it will be blackened.
When you say it has fuel, is it getting through to the carb to the engine? Does the spark plug get wet when attempting to start it?
When it broke down was it at full speed, did it just stop running and roll to a halt? Is there compression when the engine is turned over? Has the motor run lean on fuel due to having an aftermarket exhaust fitted, or air filter removed without re-jetting the carb to suit?
