Getting both lights on dipped beem, fazer600?

is it easy to get the both lights to work on dipped beem for my friends fazer600.

Answers:
No the bulb fittings are different, one side has a 60/55w H4 bulb the other has a single filament 60w.
no maybe tomorrow
Takes a bit of fiddling with the electrics and rewiring. How good are you at this?
I have no idea what you are talking about.
Assuming one light has main and dip beam , just disconnect the wires from the light that doesn't dip and then connect its terminals to the the one that has both , this should cause both lights to work on either high or low beam .
I doubt that is feasible - definitely not easy.

Many modern headlamp units (cars, bikes, trucks, etc) have one lamp designed to produce an optimised dipped beam, and another to produce an optimised main beam (although the dipped beam stays on when main beam is used).

To get a dipped beam from the main-beam lamp you would have to fit a revised reflector and lens that you had re-designed to provide both beams, change the bulb-holder and bulb for a twin-filament system, and modify the electrics to cut the power to the dipped-beam filament of the twin-filament bulb when main beam is used.

It would probably be cheaper to buy a second bike, and employ a man to ride the second one along side you.
In order to pass inspection, the motorcycle has to have a high and low beam (I'm in the USA and don't know what dipped means). If that's the way it is for you, you'll have to fit a different socket to accommodate a dual filament bulb and do a little re-wiring.
I looked into this for my VTR SP1, let me tell you, far too much hassle and not worth the effort in the end.
