Whats the difference between hgv 1 and hgv2 licience and a class1 -class 2 driver?

Answers:
the CLASS of the license is by weight.
example :26,000lbs would be CLASS 1
example :26,001lbs to 40,000lbs CLASS 2
cdl commercial license is 80,000lbs with AIR BRAKE endorsement.you can have AIR BRAKE endorsement with CLASS 2
Hgv 1 and class one are the same ,same as hgv 2 and class 2 are the same.Class/hgv 1 drivers can drive articulated lorries or a c+e as its stated on the licence.A class/hgv 2 licence holder can only drive a rigid vehicle or a class c or non articulated only. The weight is restricted only by the permissable weight for a vehicle category rather than the licence itself
hgv 1 & 2 and class 1 & 2 r the same class 1 drive up to 44 tons in weight class 2 not as much
