Not a lad,, but my husband is very proud that I ride my own and brags to the other men about his wife being able to handle an 1100cc bike as good as any rider. I still ride pillion with him at times.
If a man is so insecure that a lady rider bothers him, he isn't worth knowing.

I'd rather have them ride their own,they are always wiggleing and it makes the bike wobble all over the road,especially it the corners,very dangerous..

Prefer pillion, but missus rides as do other women friends. Lady riders are cool.
I'm not a lad, but I started riding pillion with my boyfriend (now husband) 5 years ago, and now I've had my own ride for 3 years.
We still ride "two up" sometimes just for fun, but if we are going to ride twisty roada at higher speeds we both prefer to ride our own ride.
on the back is great for short distance on a sport bike a LARGER cruiser is much better for both. but having a hot chick that can ride and has her own bike show us independence, and motivation which is way hotter than anything.!!
id be happy for the mrs just to come on the back of the bike, but if she wanted to learn to ride thats cool too.
