Sorry, I didn't have enough time before to look that link up for you. There are no workers standing in front of it, but very similar to your descriptions nonetheless.
You need to scroll down a bit. The building was then the train station La Gare Montparnasse, which has now been turned into the Musée d'Orsay:

Think I know the one you mean, the one mentioned at Allposters is not what I had in mind. Things like this usually make it to student posters, perhaps that could be in your search criteria. I think I saw it years ago in a book, not sure that we have it any more as I haven't seen it in years. Try looking in one of those huge books, 'History in Photographs' etc.
