What is the best and cheapest UK speed/radar detection unit you can get for your car?

Preferably one that also detectects mobile radar vans?

You get what you pay for! But if you want one more ticket and have your license taken.then go ahead buy a peice of junk that will not tell you anything until the cop is in your tail pipe!
They are only any good if you pay, you gets what ya pay for. a cheap one will be activated by mobile phones radar traffic lights, most are. you need one with a city squelch, otherwise offices will activate it, any thing that works by remote signal will start it bleeping. Cheap ones just won't save you. A radar warning device tat is hidden behind your grill is best. I own an AC Cobra and i do !60mph, i have never been caught, my detector saved me thousands of pounds and dozens of points. Buy a good one. Tony.
