Why is it so expensive to fly from Newcastle to Southampton?

Have yu tried looking at BMI www.gofly.com i think is their website. Also try looking at www.cheapflights.com.
Because no one in their right mid would want to go to Southampton let alone fly!

Depends on your interpretation of expensive. My uncle lives in Morpeth and flies down to Southampton from the Toon. He books his tickets with flybe.com Reckons they're as cheap as chips.
Flybe.com is the best airline from north to south. If you book them well in advance you will save lots. So work out your dates and prebook. Ive just paid 40 pounds to go up to newcastle in august half the price of a train
