How do i check my vehicle registration?
Answers:
Contact one of the HPI websites to see if the vehicle is stolen. Give the car details (make, model, colour) to the DVLA. Fill in the form at the post office stating that you are the owner of the vehicle and hope for the best - if the HPI says that there is outstanding credit on the car, then the car dies not belong to you (which is when it gets complicated {sorry}) If the car does not have any outstanding credit then good - next go to the DVLA and state the VIM number (it is usually by the drivers door under a plastic flap beneath the carpet. If that is all OK then you can re-contact the DVLA and change the registration of your vehicle (you cannot make the car younger than it is i.e. if the car is a R reg, you cannot make it a T reg).
look at the license plates. it'll be there
try the DVLA site they may be able to help
Can you explain better what you need to check?
Hi there,
Do you mean the vehicle identification number (VIN) ?
If yes, on many of the models, there is a small plate at the base of the windscreen where the number is embossed. The plate may be covered by a panel which is simple to remove.
Hope this helps
Go to the RAC website and run a data check on your car, should turn up any inaccuracies or suspiscious info, and its free, search rac data check in google and it should come up
