Anyone seen Long Way Round?

problem is , that they had alot of backing, they had a caravan of vehicles following them.
Im not taking anything away from what they did, its truely an amazing journey.
I would only be interested in doing something similar , or the same route in order to beat their time! lol.. like the long way round motorcycle rallie lol!!.
If anyone does this, i want some money for sujesting the idea!!.

i havn`t seen the documentary, but i read the book and loved it! im more into travel than motorcycles. if i was into motorcycles though, i would love to do a trip like that!
My wife would like to ride Ewan McGregor round the world, through the top half of Asia (Russia, Mongolia, Khazakstan are some of the countries visited), through North America, to New York, and back again - good job I'm an understanding type.
I've seen it and I like touring, so some day I might do something similar. But not at the moment I think. Still plenty of places left in Europe where I haven't been on motorcycle.
