Whats the best but a really cheap 600 for me to get?

A GSXR 600 is a cheap bike (Suzuki) and if you need parts there are tons on ebay. Another cheapo is a CRB600R (Honda). Get a F3 or an F4. They handle better than the GSXR but have a little less power and weigh more. Another cheapo is the Yamaha YZF600 (not the R6 which is it's full injected cousin that is more expensive)
If you're not looking for a rocket I'd go with a Honda VLX Deluxe or something along those lines. They are pretty cheap and can handle turns and have some power to them. If you're looking for a deal check ebay. I have bought 2 bikes off of ebay and loved them both. Just watch for ones that are in your area.

General mucking about - go for a Suzi Bandit. cool bike with a dogs bollix heritage & really open to modding. loads available & dirt cheap.. just do the research & find a goodun.

bandit, hornet, fazer, diversion, you can pick a 600 bandit up less than a grand now.
Or you can go older and get a sports 600 like the cbr 600 or the fz600.
loads out there to choose from.
Dont get a "really cheap" bike, ever. The brakes are usually crap, the balance can be off, and even brand new, they just dont do the job. If you want a 600, go for a 2ndhand one thats been loved, not new Chinese crap.
