I need a new (maybe second hand) car - help.?

I like the superminis (and I've had a Metro) but am thinking about getting a Rover 25 - Can anyone out there tell me what to look out for in particular when I'm buying one? I've looked into the possibility of lack of spare parts and don't think that's going to be a problem. What else should I be wary of on this make and model? Thanks.

well if youve had a metro you have been lucky, Rover were renowned for there cylinder head failures. THe K series engine was strong but the gasket kit wasnt. To be honest i still have a rover 214i for commuting to work and back, but that is on engine number two and still going strong. Dunno what the other engines are like in the newer models but i would go for a foreign job, after all rover are no more and in the years to come it will be a fight at the scrap yeard for parts..RIP ROVER
