Why not name and shame motor cycle MOT stations who state there are things wrong mechanically and there is not
Answers:
How do you tell the difference between an honest opinion and a fraudulent claim? It's almost impossible to tell the difference well enough that the MOT station operators wouldn't be able to accuse you of libel or slander, or something.
When you think about how all the different ways that sort of 'drama' could play itself out, it hardly seems worth the effort since you are likely to lose more than the station.
I agree - two garages can give different diagnosis on the same vehicle. Report them to Rogue Traders!
I agree, whilst we are at it why not do the same with car M.O.T.s
its a good idea, but unless U have solid proof, ie it passed a test b4 it goes in, and then checked after it supposedly fails, then U cant prove it, as they can say it happen after they tested it and then its called slander, and U can be sued for it, is a g i t i know
if your unhappy with the outcome of an mot then just follow the appeals process.
yeah it's a fantastic idea, but you need solid proof . if you don't and accuse them in ANY sort of media they'll sue you for slander.
