A question for people with driving licences, what 2 manoeuvres did you get on you driving test??
Answers:
3 point turn (known as turn around in Ireland) and reverse round the corner. I love 3 point turns but felt pretty nervous about reversing round a corner. Still i was lucky because examiner told me i could have been a little closer to the footpath and i thought i had failed then but he went on to tell me that my 3 point turn was the best he'd seen in a long while so i passed. It's not only about your driving but also luck! I panicked when told i was last one to take my test, thinking he was going to fail me (They can only pass so many) but i did pass to find out they'd failed a lot of people on the day so maybe they had to pass one! And as it was me . But anyway! Looks like you're preparing for your test so good luck!
three point turn (or turn in the road) and parallel parking!! Glad I avoided the reversing round a corner! Good Luck with your test!
i got turn in the road (no longer a 3-point turn) and reverse parking, dont worry too much about this as you can be a foot from the kerb ,just as long as you dont hit the kerb ! ,i passed first time .woo hooo.good luck
same as little l
I've had my license for almost four years now, but as far as I can remember I did the reverse parking and three point turn. Passed first time. Now that I mention the three point turn, it's useful to know that they CAN'T fail you for using more than three turns. So if you don't think you can turn the car around in three moves, take five instead of risking clipping the kerb. Good luck, hope you pass.
Three point turn and reversing round the corner.
3 point turn and reverse parking. I was praying I wouldn't get reversing round corners!
Same as Donna M along with an emergency stop! But then I took my test in 1989 thankfully they hadn't thought of adding parallel parking yet!!!
I had to do the following:
1. 3 point turn.
2. Reverse round a corner.
3. Hill start.
4. Hill start at an angle ie: from behind a parked car.
Good luck for your test.
