What is the process of painting the plastics on a motorbike?

Answers:
sand and paint. Nothing to it.
Very simple, Primer the surface, leave about 20mins then give another coat. It would be my advise to leave it for 24 hours, then spray lights coats of your chosen colour until you get the desired effect, ensuring you leave a good 20mins before each application.
Make sure you take off the stickers first.
Pretty much the same as painting any other automotive part except that you must use a plastisiser in the primer and then also on the top coat to prevent the paint from cracking should the plastic flex.you can buy this in almost any car accesory shop that supplies the motor trade. Havent ever seen it in halfords but that doesnt mean that they dont have it. The exact mix ratio will be given on the tin.
Its not a good idea to paint plastics. Go to a bike shop and ask them; they have compounds specially to make the plastic bits look new and take of the nasty faded look.
