What is the best motocross scrambler for a beginner ?

I'm looking into a reliable 125 or 250 cc dirt bike but know bugger all about them

Answers:
For a starter dirt bike I'd avoid the 125 or 250 cc two stokes, and the high performance 250 and 400/450cc 4 stokes. As mentioned above; go with the Yamaha TTR series, Honda CRF series, Kawasaki KLX series (limited models available) or the Suzuki DRZ series. Having said that, if you have some bike experience, and are comfortable with a high performance bike; the go with the full on motocross bikes.
you ar e beginner ? Crf150 or ttr125 if you are to tall crf230 ttr 250. There are a lot off bikes out but parts service easier and better with the big 4
Go with a Honda if you want build quality and reliability!
Back in the good ol' days I like the Bultaco but the Hodaka was a fast scooter although could wobble and a new rider would take a sh-ter.
