What is the correct engine speed (r.p.m) for a vauxhall corsa 1.4 16v?

I'm not sure if my car is "over-revving", so I would like to know what the reading should be when travelling @ 60mph in 5th gear.

sound like your over reving the engine surely you should only be in 4th gear at 60mph
let it tick over, usualy around 1100.
if its around there, 5th gear should be fine.
