google maps uk is excellant for the uk just put the postcode in where you are and put the postcode where you want to go. i have used it and its realy accurate. Try google earth for going abroad.
Tap in AA Route Planner into your Search Box. They will provide an answer. If not, I know a man who can!
not sure you can do the entire distance overland as there are a couple of 'hot spots' where you really dont want to be travelling without a tank and several thousand 'friends' along for back-up. Pretty much starts at Turkey and continues for next few thousand miles, Pakistan comes to mind,Palestine, along with Iraq, Iran, (you could go the long way, through Russia into China then come back a bit)
Probably better to ride around the block that way you wont get lost. Could try going to Donnington for the races and see if you like that first or try Paul Ricard in the south of France for the Bol d'Or, thats only about 2,500 mile round trip and its coming up in september or october
Can't help you with the route but why not raise funds for Riders For Health through sponsorship? You probably already know that they are the bikers' own charity so it would be a fantastic chance to help them. Whatever you do, do it safely and have a great time.
