Valve timing suzuki?

how do i do the valve timing on a v twin engine

Answers:
I wouldn't trust any answers you get from here. I'd rely only on a shop manual for valve timing for a jap v-twin. It's not complicated. But there is a complex set of procedures to follow. Stuff like put the R cyl at TDC compression stroke. Turn the crankshaft in reverse exactly 180 degrees past TDC of the F cyl.
That's NOT the way to do it on your model. Just an idea on how each manufacturer would word the procedure.
Good Luck.
If your doing a TL1000 you need the manual and supplement or you'll get timing off by a half tooth. there is a 'hole' in sprocket that has to line up with line in cam chain tunnel on front cylinder then you do rear.
