www.craigslist.org
either a government auction or www.carfax.com
You can start the process by checking the newspaper classifieds.
Tote the note off of jack borrow hwy.
E-bay is actually a good place.
There is E-Bay Auto, and it has everything sorted, and all the information post. Such as quality, if it was smoked in and such. I got my car from there. A year old, and half blue book. Practically perfect condition. My dad also got his car off there. He reallt likes it. So I would have to say, try e-bay auto.
Here's a starting place - Click and Clack, the Tappett Brothers from the NPR Cartalk show have a couple of pages on their website that can give you an idea of what make and model would suit you, and what might be for sale in your area. Click on the link below, and try the Car Talk Auto Advisor link. Then go to the Cars for Sale link to see if any of them are available in your area. Good luck!
Find a friend that's buying a new car and took good care of the car they own.
Depends where you live, try recycler or e-bay but buyer beware there are alot of dishonest people out there selling the cars that came from KATRINA.
go to autotrader.ca or be cheap like my friend next to me and go to ebay.com. :-)
or you can get a used car
Have you tried contacting your City Police Department in reference to unclaimed autos and auction dates/locations? Also contacting the local banks/financial institutions for their list of autos, auctions and dates. In each case bring a knowledgeable friend along with You.
