Do i have to take my theory test again to get a motorcyle licence?

I have a full uk car licence for 2 years and am 22yrs old, looking to do the full catagory bike test but it looks like i need to do a theory test again but this time for motorcycles. Is this true?

You will need to take a theory test if you want a licence for a new category of vehicle, for example, if you have a car licence and you want a motorcycle licence you will need to take a theory test.

If, however, you want to upgrade within a vehicle category you will not normally need to take a theory test, for example, if you have a full automatic car licence and you want a manual car licence you will not have to take a theory test.

Please check with the Driver and Vehicle Licensing Agency (DVLA) or the Driving Standards Agency (DSA) if you are unsure if you should take a theory test."
yeah think so
im not sure but in the car theory test there were a few questions about motorbike handling, im not sure why they were in it if u have to do another one for a motorbike license
I don't know about UK, but in California you only have to take the drive test.
yeah you do need to take a theory test again'sorry'
Yes it is. You have to do a theory test for every class of vehicle you need to take a driving test for. I had to do a theory for my PSV (bus) and another for my motorcycle. Rip off springs to mind.

Anyway good luck.
YES UNFORTUNATLY YOU DEFFINATLY DO
Dont know; call your nearest CBT centre; they know everything!
