Well, your question is a little vague
HJ60 is the Diesel engined Model of the 1979 - 1985 Landcruiser Wagon
FJ60 is the Petrol engined variant of the same vehicle
These where followed by the 62 series in 1985 until introduction of the 80 series. 60 series have single round headlights, 62 series generally have twin rectangular head lights (introduced after the 1985 model - 1985 models retain the single round headlight set up)
I would prefer the diesel (HJ), although they are a bit sluggish, they are virtually unbreakable and will run forever.
The Petrol models (FJ) are just as tuff, easy to work on etc but they are very thirsty. If I had to go a petrol it would be an FJ62 as the motor was upgraded from a 2F to a 3F in 1985 meaning a better flowing head and the ability to run unleaded fuel. cheaper running costs
All in all I would be looking for a 1985 onwards HJ62 with the high top roof and all the electrics. Even better spend a few grand more and buy a mid 90's Turbo Diesel 80 series, which really are the pick of the Landcruisers.
HJ60 uses 13.5 litres per 100 kilometres FJ60 uses 18.5 litres per 100 kilometres. port polish work and extractors and I'll take the diesel thanks.
