Cambelt timing on ccm 604 sport?
Answers:
here is what is going on.
1 bike is bad starting. not getting fuel. intake valve not opening enough to let fuel air mixture in.
2 plenty of comp.because intake valve not opening enough, bad starting no fuel air mix.
3 blows air or backfires spark ignites mix behind the intake valve in the intake carb air filter ect blows air
so your intake is way off too much valve clearance or Way of time.
4 put the piston at the top line up mark on cam and crank
dude, get a shop manual.
sounds as if ignition timing has slipped ,cant mind if it is /valves are belt drivin but i would advise not to ride as piston could clout valves £££££££££
before resorting to anything just whip the head off, you may only have a sticking inlet valve that isnt closing properly, while there then do the clearances. email a ccm dealer or factory they will tell you what they need to be.
