Depending on what state you are in that could be quite illegal, most state laws do not allow "strobe" lamps on vehicles. I wouldn't recommend you putting those on your vehicle.

They are called strobes, and you can shop for them either at Ebay or Wheelen.com. They have lots of flahing and shiny lights, but for somethings you need a permit so dont get your self in trouble.
They ARE NOT illegal. All they do is switch between high and low beam automatically during the day and run normal at night. I think I've seen them in a Chaparral catalog or in a J&P Cycles catalog. Pretty cheap. Carry some huge ball bearings and throw them at the idiot pulling out in front of you. Make sure you ride on something that can out run them though.

The flashing headlight won't keep cars from pulling out in front of you, and it won't help you be seen any better. Actually some people are irratited by the headlight and don't really see it, even
when looking at it.
Dont know where you are, but in the UK these would be illegal; they are only legal on police and emergency vehicles. I know exactly how you feel about car drivers- the bastards are all blind.
A better idea would be for you to keep your headlight on as normal but buy a pair of cheap small spot-lamps and mount those to the bike. A flashing headlight may be taken as a signal for the car to pull out! Basic strobe kits can be found in most car accessory places. Drill a hole in the spot-lamps and fit them there. That way you have a headlight on + auxiliary lighting if you need it + a groovy strobe for clearing traffic moses styleee!
