Do we think mg rover will ever start up again, to product excellent cars like the rover75/mgzt?

Answers:
In April of 2005, the Rover MG group was purchased by a Chinese interest. Last news from the Rover MG site can be found here,..

The latest info I've heard is that they are only interested in possibly tooling up for sports car production. Whether a sedan or the ZT will ever materialize again is entirely up to them.
Rover looked like they had a Japanese buyer for the Longbridge plant, the UK government even payed a few weeks wages to the staff while negotiations were on.
I dont know if there will be a buyer in the long run.
I know the last little car they done was tied in with an Indian company.
I suspect that in a few years, some malaysian or other unheard of manufacturer will buy the tooling and pump out similar cars with another badge.
Just look at Daewoo. They were selling what was basically a mark 3 Astra !!
