Fastest motocycle ever?

What is the fastest production?
What is the fastest street legal?
What is the fastest non-production and non street legal?

Answers:
Fastest production bike is still the 1999-2000 Suzuki GSX-1300R Hayabusa at 195-200 mph.

Fastest street legal bike is a 2002 Suzuki GSX-1398R Hayabusa Turbo at 261 mph and produces 711 horsepower. This is 209 horsepower more than a Boss Hoss 502, using and engine 4 times smaller than the Boss Hoss's Chevy V8.

Fastest non-production is the Fueling Advanced Technologies bike at 332.103 mph average or 370 mph top speed.

Other noteworthy bikes are the MTT Turbine at about 225 mph, but it is not considered production according to the manufacturer. Also, the Dodge Tomahawk use a V10 Viper engine but has a top speed of less than 200 mph. I could not find any official records of Boss Hoss's going any faster than 161 mph.
Kawasaki Ninja ZX-14
Fastest production up untill last this year was the Suzuki gsxr 1300 aka the Hayabusa. The ninja just toped it this year with the zx14r but the bikes have been limited to something like 186 mph since like 1998 and the last hayabusa before that limitation went faster than that and hit hit 0-60 in like 2.8 seconds WHOA
That would be the MTT Turbine's Superbike that is owned by TV show host, Jay Leno. It puts out 320 HP, and 425 Ft Pounds of torque on a dyna-jet, and has been clocked at 225 MPH. The engine is a Rolls-Royce gas turbine. Look here:

For the last question look for information on Russ Collin's AT&SF twin or multi engine drag bike from the late 70's. I think it was a pair of 1000cc Honda engines running through the same transmission.
I would think the Boss Hoss 502 would fit in somewhere here. It should be classed as a production motorcycle as there are dealerships for them all over the United States.
This bike is powered by a 502 Cubic Inch Big Block Chevy putting out 502 horse power and 567 pounds of torque.
I don't think any of the rice burners come anywhere near this.
Not to go off the subject, but someone mentioned that manufacturers limit the top speed of motorcycles. I read the same thing in some bikes reviews, but I'm just curious this "gentlemen agreement" among manufacturers was made in the first place. Maybe the fear of liability if people fly at over $200 mph on highways?
