Are there any permanent solutions to the Honda Firestorm VTR cam chain tensioner problem?

i know about the manual adjusters, but they are a little time consuming when setting up and checking the tension etc..

Answers:
at present time there are no real solution,s,the cause is lack of oil that dont get to the tension er,causing it to wear excessively, until they re-route an oil passage that allow for better oiling, this problem will continue to occur,,when new the tension er has a thick wear plate on it,but it does,nt take long for it to wear down, causing it to rattle, and also can cause it to wear very fast,,hope this helps you some.
I dunno, but here's a good help board site.
From the largest motorcycle company in the world I dont remember a good cam chain tensioner. The twin cyl in 1960's were reasonable, The 500/550/650 fours were not too bad, the V-fours totally sucked (so they went to gear drive)
I think they must have a designer from a rival company drawing their cam chain tensioners.
If you think manual tensioner is too time consuming you probably shouldnt use one, as getting it wrong is just as expensive than the stock one going faulty
