depends on what your driving! and then of course personal taste my friend! if you like scissors then go for it if you dont then dont go for it. it is that simple!
It depends on the car.

For certain cars, like Supras, 300ZXs, Corvettes, RX-7s, ect., scissor doors are the only way to go.

Some cars, particularly the ones with less detailed body lines such as Civics, Skylines, most domestic cars and any SUV, sucide doors are the thing.

There are some exceptions. BMW's have simple body lines, but scissor doors are sweet for them. Mustangs 94 and up look pretty good with either, but the newest body style should probably go with suicide.

Keep in mind the installation difficulties. With any door removal, the door has to be lined up perfect or you're gonna smash windows, body kits, and **** the door up.

Also, suicide doors need all of your switch wiring ran under the door sills, and you might even have to extend some wires. It's easier if you don't have power accesories, but most cars these days do. Scissor doors pivot from the same spot as stock doors, so you don't have to worry about that ****.

You should also look into those sweet new gullwing-style scissor doors; instead of opening upwards, they open upwards AND outwards. They're a new design, and IMO, they will be the next big thing for doors.
