abysmal, get the 330d, has the power of a 540i with the economy of a 318
I only get 24 combined mpg at best mostly because my commute is 45 miles round trip with more than half of city driving. As a comparison, my sister's 325i gets 26 mpg because her 60 mile commute is mostly freeway.
it all depends on what year model you have, how much weight you are carrying in your car, and how fast you drive the car, and the driving conditions
If I am driving in local stop and go traffic -- I get 25.9
My husband in the same traffic gets 24.5
But on open highway - we both get between 30 and 31 miles per gallon.
It's a 330i automatic.
