Audi coupe 1991?
Answers:
'Sealed for life' You cant get to it unless you get the car on a four poster. It will be 016 type box (from memory). Take of the side cover plate where the gear link arm cover goes on Offside of box.
The required amount is in the Bentley manual for refilling, bit of debate on most Audi sites as to fill with red line or not thou?
Remember ALWAYS remove the filler cap first not the drain cap. If you get the drain cap and can't get the filler off where do you go???
Not to be too rude if you are just looking under the bonnet to top up all the fluids, then get a specialist to check it for you.
Is it a manual? If it is you cant, need to take it to a shop.
Automatic, there should be a second dip stick somewhere, look in the owners manual or contact the local audi dealer
I had a Audi coupe quattro 1991, when i looked in the handbook for gearbox oil levels it gave the impression it was only possible to check or fill at a dealer. I think the words used were filled for life.
Why would you want to do this as these type of gearboxs are sealed for life?
