Disconnect the battery, and leave the ECU with no power for about an hour. That should extinguish any fault codes, and return the ECU to it's default values. If it doesn't, then you are in a dealer's hands. Don't forget that a lot of small garages have portable ECU readers and manipulators (like a small laptop). They may work-out cheaper than a main dealer.
