If some one bumps my car and i dont have any insurance on it will it make a difference?

iv just changeed my car insurance to my new car but my old car was still on the road and some one bumped it will it make any difference

Answers:
Your car wont be covered by your own insurers as you changed your insurance to cover your new car only.
However if you have the details of the person who hit your car it should be covered under the liability section of their insurance policy.
if it isn't covered than no they will not cover the bump.
