Does the skoda fabia 2001 model 1.4 have a power steering belt or is it an electric pump?

Answers:
Its an electric pump, acutally electro-hydraullic. They have a history for going out on those models. You should get it replaced
WOW, Skoda's have power steering now ??
Crikey, I thought they ran on coal and used a series of pulleys and steam-driven pistons for any sort of motion.
no it has an elastic band
i think its electric on that model,if its stopped working it could be that the alternator is not charging ?
