Does a motorcycle need front and rear brakelight switches for mot.?

Answers:
For machines manufactured after 1985 and over 50cc are required to have 2 separate brake light systems both front and rear levers need to be connected to the brake light if one is not connected your brakelight will be deemed as faulty and you will fail an mot. If it is before that i would think about your saftey and have both levers connected anyway..
Only over 50cc. So yes.
no, but you must have "a working brake light"
You must have a working brake light. Doesn't need to be the front or back brake.
Yes it does. And they DO check!
