Standard protocol when dealing with a suspect. Plus your detector probably gives off an electronic signature that they picked up.
that sucks. some cops can smell things from a mile away. lol.
I'm sure your sudden drop in speed was an indicator.
He clocked you at 115 and you slowed down to the speed limit - sorry think he used common sense. You slowed down way to fast and you didn't see him.

That is how he knew.
It is not illegal to have a "snooper", if they took it off you, they have abused your human rights! Contact a solicitor. They knew you had one because you slowed down !
Slow down on that bloody bike. I had a friend who was going about that fast when a dump truck turned in front of him. To this day, he still walks with a very pronounced limp.
How fast were you peddling hat bike?
Wow that sucks. Did u get a Ticket? Was it fun at 115? Maybe the pig was just a prick and u were the unlucky suspect.
cops have radar detector detctors that can detect when you have a radar. Your sudden drop in speed was an indicator. They use these in states that are illegal, as well as the ones where they are legal.
specifically I do not know, but your device works by picking up the specific signals emitted by speed cameras, so is it beyond the realms of fantasy that they may have a device that detects yours?

Or you may just have looked like a shady geezer just waiting to be lifted.

Well, in some jurisdictions, detectors are illegal.
He probably knew from your behavior (sudden slowdown), or he may have noticed a mount on your bike (a velcro patch or hard-mount, perhaps?).
Anyway, good luck with that. I was charged with "Felony Speeding" a few years ago for doing 92 in a 55 mph zone, and got fined $1,000, plus attorney, plus traffic school, plus the time spent hoofing my *** back to Virgin-i-ay to face a traffic judge.
If I had had a radar detector, I would have been jailed.
All-in-all, I rarely speed these days, and never by so wide a margin.
sorry bro but the whole slowing down really fast thing kinda gives it away next time try hitting the throttle they're not allowed to persue you beyond 110 mph so if you speed it up to 150 they will just radio ahead and set up a road block so if you just pull off the road for about an hour every thing should be kosher when you come back out just follow the speed limit until you get where you were going.
It might not be illegal to OWN a snooper, but in some countries it is illegal to USE it.
at the end of the day u' wrong ,i know it sucks , big open road i c'ant see the prob ,
stay alive
